Terms of Service

Welcome to EigoPropo ("the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the following Terms.

1. Service Description

EigoPropo provides AI-assisted tools for proposal writing, translation, and freelancer profile enhancement. The Service is intended to help users write clearer proposals for freelance projects. It uses AI models to generate drafts based on text and profile settings you provide. We do not guarantee that the Service or its outputs are free from errors or from infringement of third-party rights.

2. User Accounts

Users must log in through Google or GitHub authentication (or other methods we may support in the future). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You should notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Subscription, Plans, and Billing

Paid plans are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically every 30 days. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the account or billing settings made available in the Service. When you cancel, your access to paid features will continue until the end of the current billing period, and no further renewal charges will be made. Payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We may change plan pricing or limits from time to time, and any changes will apply from the next billing cycle after we provide notice.

The free plan includes 3 proposal generations per billing cycle. The Pro plan includes 27 additional generations per billing cycle. We may suspend or limit accounts that abuse the Service, attempt automated usage beyond normal freelance workflows, or otherwise use the Service in a way that harms the stability or security of the Service.

4. User Responsibilities

You must ensure that any content you upload or paste into the Service (including job descriptions and client messages) does not violate third-party copyrights, platform terms, confidentiality obligations, or other legal rights. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any technical ideas, inventions, or other potentially patentable information you submit can be used with the Service without violating obligations you owe to third parties. You are responsible for how you use generated content with your clients and for complying with all applicable laws and platform rules.

5. AI Output Disclaimer

All proposals and translations are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or unsuitable wording. Outputs may not reflect the latest legal, technical, or commercial standards. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all outputs before sending them to clients or publishing them elsewhere. We do not guarantee that any output is free from infringement of third-party rights (including patents, copyrights, and trademarks) or that it is suitable for any particular purpose.

6. Content Ownership

Users retain full ownership of proposals, translations, and other text generated through the Service. EigoPropo does not claim any ownership rights over your content. We may use aggregated and anonymized usage data (which does not identify you personally) to improve and operate the Service.

7. Service Modifications and Suspension

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not obligated to maintain any particular feature or integration. We may temporarily suspend or limit access to the Service in order to perform maintenance, respond to security issues, or address misuse or abuse of the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of accuracy, reliability, non-infringement, or fitness for a particular purpose, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the Service or AI-generated content.

To the extent we are found liable despite the foregoing, our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service will be limited to the amount you paid to us for the Service during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or zero if you are using the Service on a free plan. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so the above may not apply to you in full.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Osaka District Court in Japan as the court of first instance.

10. Contact and Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after such updates become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
